Baby so beautiful!

It's a surreal moment when a baby enters the world!  It's fascinating and almost unbelievable....it's hard to wrap one's mind around a human life coming out of another human life!  WOW!  What a miracle.  I am so thankful to have witnessed the birth of my newest niece Cambria Love via Colleen Banman!
It was such an honour to be part of such an incredible event...when someone breathes air for the first time, a precious babe so perfectly made by our Creator.  She is beautiful.  It's amazing to think we get to have another little personality running around, another little hand to hold, a kiss to give, a giggle to hear.  I'm so excited to get to know Cambria and all the wonderful God given personality and uniqueness that will be solely hers....given by our Great, Merciful God and Saviour!
.......so blessed.......

California dreamin'...

Recently Lawana and I enjoyed a visit with Shelley in Murrieta Ca....it was so great to be together and hang out with Shell at the bible college.  More pics to come.....:)

Hawaii

Finally! I will be posting some Hawaii pictures!  Jason and I had a very special 10 day getaway to Kauai, Hawaii....it was so great to be on this beautiful island. It's tropical and lush with amazing scenery!  We enjoyed our days walking the beaches, snorkelling, watching the local surfers, hiking to waterfalls, fine dining, shopping, hanging out by the pool.....the weather was glorious!  Even though it rained a few days, I was so happy to just be in Hawaii!  It also helped that even in the rain, it was still super warm out.

bread

I really like to be in the kitchen, baking or cooking and trying to come up with creations from limited resources.  Today was a bread making day....I wanted to use an old recipe and bring it back!  I loved kneading the bread by hand.  It was very satisfying!  I'm thrilled the bread turned out.  Although I took out my first loaf prematurely, and it turned out to be doughy, I'm confident that the other three loaves will taste great!
